Associate Researcher
Dr. Aldo Arranz-López is a Ramón y Cajal Researcher at Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC), specializing in the interlinkages between land use, transport, and ICT, with a focus on how digitalization transforms mobility patterns and urban transportation. With 10 years of experience in national and international R&D projects, he has collaborated with leading institutions in urban and transport planning. His research, published in high-impact indexed journals, has contributed to innovation, knowledge transfer, and policy advisory in transport and urban planning. His expertise includes accessibility planning, travel behavior modeling, and active mobility. He currently serves as Principal Investigator on the eRBANITY and TRANSFORM projects, funded by the Spanish Government and the European Commission, exploring accessibility perceptions and the impact of e-activities on spatial accessibility. He has participated in European programs such as Horizon Europe and Marie Curie, collaborating with institutions like Goethe University (Frankfurt) and the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research. He also teaches courses on sustainability geographies at the University of Luxembourg and sessions on land use, mobility, and e-shopping at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
